Miami Dade College is bringing back Glee Camp for middle school ages and adding Musical Theater for High School students. I launched Glee Camp last summer and was hugely successful with my Glee Group. We performed hits by Lady Gaga, Celo Green, Cat Stevens, Black Eyed Peas and more! Every child had a chance to solo on the microphone with the Glee Cast (the other students in the class) backing them up in harmony and dance moves.

Run The River, one of my original compositions, has been sent to Capitol Records in Nashville for consideration by the band "Little Big Town". I have never reached so high into the stratosphere of commercial pop music. My agent has a relationship with this band and is permitted to submit songs by their clientele for consideration. I do not know how many songs were sent out by my agent; only that mine was also chosen.

Wish me luck! The "winner" will have their song recorded and performed by Little Big Town and find a place on Country Hit's Radio!

I have been in the studio with Burt Bruton, a fellow songwriter/musician/engineer/producer and we are cooking up a wonderful album. Rock, blues, country, alternative, folk... all those wonderful elements that describe Americana. Listen to one of our songs in the Music Tab of this website. Say It Now was written by Burt, performed on piano, guitar and vocals by me, and produced in Burt's studio "The Glass Lizard". I will keep you posted!

So many fun songs to sing and dance to. There are still some openings for scheduling a show at your school or venue.

New things to report for the summer season. I am creating a Glee Camp for MDC summer college program for teens and kids. I will also add a Glee Club to the roster at Gulliver Academy. ! Yea Glee ! Of course Rock Camp happens this summer with the usual great cast of counselors at MDC.

We celebrated the Grand Opening of Atala Montessori on Mainstreet in Homestead, Fl. I am thrilled to be in on the ground floor of this new institution. Many thanks to Betty and David Calabrese. Their legacy lives on.

We had a great time this year. Two session two weeks each, and then two performances at Tobacco Road. Woot Woot!

The first video shown on the homepage has been truly a labor of love. The lyrics were written by Armando Cantu (EyeCantu Productions) back in 2008. I wrote the music to his beautiful lyrics, then he came to Miami from Chicago in February of 2009 and we shot the video over a period of one week. Music production was long and laborious, but yielded a wonderful result in the studio. I sent him the finished track, and Armando spun his eye-magic to create the video. We are so pleased to finally put this up for viewing.

Lots of changes. Always exciting with new faces and familiar ones too. A new client has come on board. Montessori Children's Academy will begin Bello Music Programming in October, and offer Ensemble classes to it's 3-6 year olds.

Kingswood Montessori is under new management, but still rocking the house with Ensemble and Guitar offered Monday and Tuesday.

Winhold Montessori and Killian Montessori continue to host Ensemble music classes weekly. Our classes are thriving and we are enjoying song, dance, and fun for our bodies and souls.

Our latest Rock Camp Band, The Unknown, had their mega-rockin' performance today at Tobacco Road. Alex, Ruben, J-Rod, Nick and Chase did me proud with Green Day, U2, Led Zeppelin and a tremendous finish with Tom Sawyer by Rush. A rush it was. Bravo to these stellar musicians.

Rock Camp USA - Our first session was a huge success. My kick your butt metal band (Badd Nooodles) did me proud with their performance at Tobacco Road playing Hypnotize (System of a Down), For Whom the Bell Tolls (Metallica), DaniCalifornia (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and an original song Under My Skin. Looking forward to doing it all over again starting July 27.

Scores of Angels - the latest collaborative effort of Diane Bello and Armando Cantu is now with an A&R company out of LA. Hope to bring good news soon on this one.

"Brand New Day", a musical piece for vocal ensemble upper elementary - middle school is currently being transcribed for print publishing.

TAXI - the new fast car in my life. Bus Bound for Hope and Scores of Angels both waiting word on placement. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
